The QC Ring Swivel Round has been designed with chod rigs in mind, but will work with any other rig incorporating a stiff boom material which has a loop at the end of it. Rather than a conventional swivel eye it has a rounded crook, into which a tied or crimped loop can be located, to make it easy to change this style of rig when fishing with a helicopter set up, and without the need for additional sleeves. This crook is designed for use with thicker hook link materials, like Boom and Mouth Trap, as these will ‘click’ into place on the crook, but with no danger of it becoming detached whilst you are playing a fish – the only time the loop can come free is when you want to change hook link. These swivels are a size 11, making them perfect for use with a helicopter rig - with the ring threaded either onto your leader, or directly on your line if using a naked set-up - and giving a very neat finish. They are coated in non-reflective PTFE, and you get eight in a pack.
